Denouncement
Yeh I'm fed up... I've seen enough here in this Sundance cesspool to make me sick to my stomach...I've never been so close to the filth that is the mainstream film industry and it is appalling... At my next screening this Saturday I will issue a public statement during the Q&A... I'm sure it will make its way onto youtube... An artists declaration of war against the filthy, regressive, topical and downright disgusting menace that is the American mainstream film industry... more lateRRR

Boo! I thought you'd cheered up. Looks like Sundance is too mainstream. Doesn't surprise me; I was amazed and impressed you got selected.
I already posted this on a YouTube comment, but please pimp yourself around the smaller film festivals. With digital distribution you could cheaply get the film shown all over the world.
I'm looking forward to this festival -- http://www.flatpackfestival.org.uk/ -- in my nearest city. They're showing all sorts of crazy stuff. 8 bit freaks like you would like the ZX Spectrum Orchestra's short films.
Dude, really to help you out there is no such thing as difference any more. There IS indie and mainstream, but the only difference between indie and mainstream is the fact that independant films are made without the help of the big studios. Other than that there's no difference. You can't be different from anything any more because everything is so dispersed and out there that to truly be different is to be the same. I learned that a long time ago, and it taught me that yeah I like my types of movies, but the movies in the mainstream are movies in their own rights too.
Your movie may be one in a million, but it's the one that truly stands out in that million.

I mentioned it in a youtube comment but not sure if you're a bit swamped with so many of those, so again; you should maybe look into showing WATS the Sci-Fi London festival? - www.sci-fi-london.com - they show all sorts of cool + weird stuff, ...and it'd be convenient for me to go and see it! ^_^;

Personally I don't really get why anyone would want to watch a full feature low quality on youtube, especially a super-amazing visual movie like yours! But evidently 'the kids' do want that, and it's inevitable that SOMEONE will put it on youtube bootleg style if you don't, so maybe put up the highest quality you can manage + also sell DVDS and/or bittorrent.! But i'd certainly wait till the DVD is avaliable before putting it on the 'tube.
